Prior to his move into the hemp industry, Alexis worked in the debt and derivatives groups for some of the nation’s most respected investment banking firms including Salomon Brothers and Citigroup, and was one of the founders of and President of Sterling Financial Investment Group, Inc., a financial services firm with offices throughout the United States, Europe, and Latin America. His management expertise and strategic guidance enabled Sterling Financial to be recognized in 2002 and 2003 by Inc. Magazine as the 8th and 26th fastest growing privately-held company in the United States, respectively, and as the number one fastest growing privately owned company in the state of Florida for two years in a row. Alexis received a BA from Georgetown University in 1988 and an MBA in finance from the University of Michigan Business School in 1994.
