National Cannabis Summit Offers Unique Approach To Cannabis Conference

The National Cannabis Summit, created by MJ Conferences, is set to take place October 12th and 13th in the heart of the cannabis world, Denver, Colorado. The summit will take place at the beautiful Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, providing attendees and exhibitors walking access to the entire downtown landscape. But what sets this event apart from all of the other conferences, expos and summits you may have attended or heard about? Well, the National Cannabis Summit is focused on flipping the script when it comes to attending an industry event. MJ Conferences biggest goal is to maximize return on investment for everyone involved, and they are doing this through an unparalleled education schedule, a top-notch venue and fantastic speakers, many of whom are new to the Denver cannabis speaking circuit, if not the industry as a whole.

Where and When?

The National Cannabis Summit will take place October 12th-13th at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. This picturesque venue will offer exhibitors and attendees excellent accommodations, in addition to easy access to the heart of downtown Denver.

“We chose this location because it is right in the heart of Denver, the cannabis capital of America right now. The Sheraton is right in the middle of the city and extremely easy to get to. It took a lot of back and forth to get the venue comfortable with us, but we presented both our exhibitors and ourselves as the professional entrepreneurs that we all are. They bought into our vision. Getting into a beautiful venue like this is certainly a step up, not just for business conferences in Colorado, but the industry as a whole.” Andrew Passen – CEO of MJ Conferences

Overall Goal

The goal of the National Cannabis Summit is to elevate the idea of what a cannabis conference should be. To accomplish this, the NCS has grouped together a diverse series of panels, forums and speakers from three key parts of the cannabis industry; Business (Run by MJ Conferences), Investing (Weedstock) and Native American Involvement (Native Workplace).

A highlighted panel consisting of Native American Tribal Leaders will discuss their cannabis operations publically, for the first time. The goal being to put these influential Tribal leaders in front of other Natives, to show that not only are there cannabis business deals already taking place, but that cannabis or hemp is nothing to fear. Rather, it is a tool that can drive financial development within these Native communities.

“Our biggest goal is to elevate the industry, especially as it pertains to education. We’re going to achieve that through a never before seen, next level style of education. We’ve combined three very large education tracks to provide the most comprehensive and time-worthy conference to date in Colorado, if not the entire US.” – Andrew Passen – CEO of MJ Conferences

Target Demo

The unique combination of education tracks and speakers allows the National Cannabis Summit to attract a very unique attendance base. Because of this, exhibitors will be able to network and market with many different demographics at the same time, instead of having to attend multiple conferences. Cultivators and dispensary owners are being targeted with numerous education opportunities as to how to take their business to the next level. Additionally, the investment portion of the summit will cover both private and public investing, a very hot industry topic.

“This summit combines business, investment and tribal education to truly become the first event of its kind. We look forward to seeing tribal leaders from all over the country, as we’ve reached out to over 500 recognized tribes from all across the country. Additionally, exhibitors will experience a diverse crowd from many different demographics. It’s a great chance for them to improve and implement new business and marketing strategies.“
