What was the deciding factor for you to join this particular industry?
I have always been interested in all natural remedies for healing. When I began learning about all the natural benefits of hemp seed oil as well as cannabis, I was completely blown away. I truly believe that mother nature meant for us to utilize this plant to heal ourselves from whatever need be. I did not go looking to get into the hemp or cannabis movement, it just happened naturally. I believe hemp to be a huge part of our future. I look forward to sharing victory with so many who have been fighting this fight for a very long time, some even before I was born. Hemp is our future.

I am an artist who writes and sings her own music. I never intended on making skincare products. This all happened by accident. I had struggled with rosacea for years. I tried expensive cremes from a Beverly Hills dermatologist and laser treatments and even after that, I still had red inflamed skin. Those who struggle with rosacea know exactly what I am talking about. I am now in this industry because I have truthfully found that hemp seed oil combined with dead sea minerals reversed my skin condition.
What skills from your previous experiences helped you in what you are doing now?
Years back I understudied with a medicine man who lives in the mountains of Alabama. He taught me how to heal almost anything with all natural herbs. I have also been an indie artist for over a decade. I have done everything from writing my own songs, producing my own music, and releasing them on my own label, Dazey Rock Records. I have handled my own bookings, interviews, artwork, and promotions for years. This experience has taught me how to create a brand and run with it. Whether it’s music, skincare, hemp jeans, or my non-profit for the homeless called B Love for the Homeless Foundation… I am always pouring passion into my projects.
Right now, where are you guiding your passion and energy towards?
My passion and energy are always guided towards love and pure intentions. After that, I am focused on getting my Dazey Hemp facial creme out to the masses. I have been asked by many people if they can pass their drug test after using hemp seed products. That is when I realized this was going to be a little harder than I had planned. We are having to educate ourselves, as well as each other. Hemp and cannabis are not the same plant, but they are related. People are afraid of what they don’t know. I am passionate about this creme because I know the value and what it truly does. Determination
What do you consider your weakness as an entrepreneur? Your strength?
Weakness…. I will be very honest with you. Money is my weakness. I started my company with zero seed money. I am stubborn by nature. I treated it like my music with the mindset that I can do it all by myself. I have done well but it has taken me much longer than if I had started out with seed capital. The next time someone wants to invest… I will say YES!
Strength…. I never stop. I never give up. I never allow myself to be envious of others’ success but only inspired by it!
How are you differentiating yourself from the competition?
My motto has always been to never compete with anyone. I believe there is enough to go around for everyone. I wish all of my ‘Hempsterfriends’ good luck in their endeavors. I think we cannabis advocates and Hempsters need to band together. I know so many who have sacrificed and fought the good fight. It would be a shame to see the big corporations come in and take over. We should all stand together more than ever!
How do you find inspiration in this industry? What have you found that has inspired you?
I am inspired by my fellow advocates who risk so much to stand up for this plant that truly heals. I am inspired that everyday we hear of a new case where a child is being saved from seizures or cancer. I am inspired to be a small part of history in the making. I am even more inspired to personally know those on the very front lines.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?
“Your life is a product of your thoughts so think big grand thoughts and never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something”
What’s your newest knowledge about the marijuana industry?
I am learning of new cannabis channels. Recently, my products have been featured on the U.S. Weed Channel and MJ360.tv which are two leading networks in this movement. My music will also be featured on both of these channels. More exciting news to come about that.
If you could rewind time to 5 years ago, how would your business be different?
I would go after investment instead of trying to do everything myself. I had this idea in my head that I could do this with no seed money. I have done pretty well. It simply takes time to build a company.
What will we be seeing from you and Dazey Hemp in the coming future?
My next project in the works is Dazey Hemp Jeans. We are officially Live on the web. This is a special project that I have wanted to do for a very long time.The idea of having a leaf on the label of my jeans is a dream come true on many levels. Dazey Hemp skincare will continue to develop products that will help people with their skin naturally. The Green future is very bright. May everyone win including the Universe who needs hemp!
